The Paiste Masters Dark Crash Ride is a hand-hammered 20" cymbal from Paiste's exclusive Masters series, cast in CuSn20 bronze (Traditional Bronze). It delivers a warm, full and complex sound with a wide dynamic range, suited to everything from very low to medium loud volume, live and in the studio.

The Masters series began as a line of top-class ride cymbals and was expanded in 2014 to include hi-hats and crash models of the same high quality. Every cymbal is hand-hammered and unique, meaning the sound can vary slightly between individual pieces – a sign of quality rather than a drawback. Paiste themselves describe the series as "Every Cymbal A Masterpiece".

Sound Character

With a very thin build, the cymbal produces a crisp attack, a misty intensity and a highly lively bell. The chick sound sits at a medium level. Overall it's warm, deep and full with a wide sonic range, well suited to genres such as jazz, blues, R&B, funk, pop and country.

Feel and Volume

Built for playing from very low to medium loud volume, making it a great fit for acoustic settings and recording situations where dynamics and nuance matter.
