20" Istanbul Agop Traditional Medium Crash Cymbal
20" crash cymbal from Istanbul Agop, Traditional Medium. Full sound with long sustain and rich overtones.
Product Description
The 20" Traditional Medium Crash from Istanbul Agop is a versatile, full sounding crash cymbal with a longer sustain. Completely lathed on top and bottom, it produces rich, warm overtones and a highly musical presence.
Traditional Series cymbals are known for their thorough top-and-bottom lathing, which creates an open, nuanced sound full of overtones. This particular model sits in the medium weight class of the series, giving it a full, rounded crash with a longer sustain than a thinner cymbal.
Sound and Feel
The tone is warm and musical with good presence, while the extended sustain makes the cymbal easy to work into many musical contexts, from subtle jazz playing to fuller rock settings.
About the Traditional Series
The Traditional Series from Istanbul Agop is available in weights ranging from paper thin to heavy, offering a wide array of choices to complement any style of music. This model represents the medium weight within that range.
