20" Istanbul Agop Traditional Heavy Ride Cymbal

Product Description

The 20" Traditional Heavy Ride from Istanbul Agop is a fully lathed ride cymbal from the Traditional series, built for clean, focused stick definition combined with a rich, warm tone. It suits players who want clear articulation with a dark, musical character underneath.

Traditional Series cymbals are completely lathed on top and bottom, producing rich, warm overtones and a highly musical presence. The series is available in weights ranging from paper thin to heavy, offering a wide array of choices to complement any style of music. This model is a heavy weight.

Sound and Feel

Stick response is clean and focused, with a loud, clear and relatively dark ping that cuts through a fuller mix without turning harsh. The heavy weight gives the cymbal more body and a firmer, more controlled attack than the thinner models in the same series.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want a ride with clear ping and a dark, warm character, for playing situations where the cymbal needs to be heard without becoming shrill.
