20" Evans Hydraulic - Red
For a 20" floor tom. Two-ply oil film in red transparent film. That 70s vibe with the gold Evans logo.
Product Description
The Evans Hydraulic Red is a two-ply oil film head with a red transparent film and small oil droplets between the plies, here in 20" for floor tom. The oil dampens and compresses the tone into a short, full sound with plenty of control, while the head feels slightly more open in its attack than its sister films.
Each film in the Hydraulic series has its own character. Red Hydraulic has more energy in the attack than Hydraulic Glass, Hydraulic Blue, and Hydraulic Black, while sharing their compressed, fat tone. The head delivers a controlled, dampened sound even when the drum is tuned loose and finger-tight.
The gold logo is a clear nod to 70s glitter and glamour, but the sound is just as serious today as it was back then. A head for players who want character and control in one package.
Hydraulic Red is available in tom sizes from 6" to 20", as well as bass drum heads in 20" and 22".
