According to SABIAN, projecting real darkness in a cymbal's tone was difficult before HHX. The dark, simmering sound, agitated bite and Tone Projection design of the HHX series make it more effective at this than other cymbals. Stirring up more of that dark, raw musical character drummers want to hear, and projecting it clearly. It gets you heard, and felt. HHX Tone Projection is an innovative design created by the SABIAN Vault team.

Surface Finish

This cymbal features a Brilliant Finish. A bright, polished surface that sets it apart from the traditional HHX cymbals.
