Product Description
20" bass drum head from Aquarian in a Coated finish. It's single-ply and medium weight, built with a vented damping ring under the head that helps keep overtones under control without choking the tone.
The damping ring has ventilation holes around its perimeter, letting the ring and the head move together instead of fighting each other. The result is a focused, controlled bass drum tone without the wildest overtones.
The head ships with a PortHole™, a removable insert that lets you place a 5" vent hole wherever you want on the head. That makes it easy to fine-tune the air pressure inside the drum and simplifies miking without swapping heads.
