20" Evans dB ONE
Quiet mesh bass drum head from Evans with genuine acoustic feel. Great for practicing at home.
Product Description
The Evans dB ONE is a 20" mesh bass drum head built to let you practice quietly without losing the real acoustic feel of your playing. It uses a single layer of ShockWeave Mesh together with Kinetic Transfer Foam technology, giving a much lower volume than a standard head while keeping the response natural.
- Single-ply mesh construction
- Significantly reduced volume for quiet practice
- Retains genuine acoustic tone and feel
- No need to change your playing technique
Construction
At the core of the head is ShockWeave Mesh, a single layer that works with the Kinetic Transfer Foam technology to transfer impact energy into sound vibration. Evans describes the transfer as flawless. The head also features specially designed Impact Patches that reinforce the strike zone while improving the audible attack and articulation of every hit, so you can still feel and hear the difference between strokes despite the lowered volume.
Who It's For
A solid choice if you practice at home or in an apartment and want to play naturally, with real pedal feel, without disturbing those around you. Designed and manufactured in the USA.
