20" Evans EQ4 - Calftone
Synthetic head with the look and warmth of calfskin. 12-mil mylar for 20" bass drum.
Product Description
The Evans EQ4 Calftone is the synthetic alternative to traditional calfskin heads. A 20" bass drum head that gives you the look and warm tone of a natural skin, combined with the reliability and fit of a modern Evans 360 head. A great way to get vintage character without the vintage downsides.
The head is made from 12-mil mylar blended with a unique material to achieve the warmth and clear tone associated with genuine calfskin. Calftone can be used as either a batter head or a resonant head, giving you flexibility in how you set up your bass drum.
