The Evans EMAD Heavyweight Clear is a powerful 20" bass drum batter head built from two plies of 10 mil film for a full, controlled tone. What sets it apart is the EMAD damping system with interchangeable outer damping rings, letting you change the drum's character quickly without swapping heads or fitting loose internal muffling.

• Two plies of 10 mil film give a powerful, pre-dampened tone straight out of the box
• The wide damping ring delivers a fat, more closed "hammock sound"
• The narrow ring gives a slightly more open tone with extra resonance
• Remove the ring entirely for a classic, open Bonham-style thud
