20" Remo Colortone Smoke Powerstroke 3 - Smoke

Product Description

Powerstroke 3 Colortone Smoke is a 20" bass drum head from Remo with a smoke-tinted finish and built-in dampening. The head is single-ply and designed to give a full, controlled bass drum sound while giving your kit a distinctive look.

The color is created using Remo's Skyndeep® Imaging Technology, which gives the head a striking visual appearance while Remo states the technology contributes to powerful projection, tone, and durability. The Colortone series is also available in Orange, Yellow, Red, Green, and Blue besides Smoke, and comes in the Emperor®, Powerstroke® 77, and Powerstroke® P3 models, in sizes from 8" to 26".

Construction

Powerstroke 3 is single-ply with a built-in dampening ring already integrated into the head. That gives you a controlled, dampened character straight out of the box, without needing to tape or add extra muffling yourself. A good solution if you want a bass drum sound with fewer overtones from the start.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want to give your bass drum a distinctive look while keeping the Powerstroke 3 series' built-in dampening, without compromising on sound.
