20" Remo Powerstroke 3 - Colortone Blue

Product Description

20" bass drum head from Remo in the Powerstroke 3 series, in the vivid Colortone Blue finish. This single-ply head has a built-in dampening ring around the edge, giving you a controlled, punchy low end without needing extra muffling.

Powerstroke 3 is built for bass drum and combines a single-ply head with a built-in dampening ring at the edge. It gives a focused, controlled attack with plenty of low-end punch, without the open, ringing tone a plain single-ply head can otherwise produce on a bass drum. Many players skip extra muffling materials entirely thanks to this construction.

The Colortone series uses Remo's Skyndeep® Imaging Technology, an image transfer process that gives the head a vivid, colorful look without compromising projection, tone, or durability. Blue is one of several color options in the series (others include orange, yellow, red, green, and smoke), and the Colortone technology is also available in Remo's Emperor® and Powerstroke® 77 series, in sizes from 8" to 26". An easy way to put a personal stamp on your kit without compromising the sound.
