20" Paiste Color Sound 900 Heavy Ride Cymbal - Blue

Product Description

The 20" Color Sound 900 Heavy Ride in blue from Paiste is a ride cymbal from the Color Sound 900 series with a warm, full and dynamic sound. Thanks to the color coating it has a slightly darker, more controlled sound than the standard 900 series, with a clear ping attack and a separated bell.

The Color Sound 900 series stands out with four bold color options, and this ride cymbal comes in blue. At its core it's the same cymbal as the rest of the 900 series: made from CuSn20 bronze, machine-made in its first stage and then hand-hammered. The color coating adds an extra dimension to the sound. Slightly darker and more controlled than an uncoated 900 cymbal, while keeping the warm, full character the series is known for.

Sound Character

The cymbal has a heavy thickness and delivers a volume ranging from medium to very loud, making it easy to cut through in most settings. The attack is pinging and clear, the intensity lively, and the bell is separated from the body so it stands out as its own distinct layer in grooves and fills.

Uses

Works both live and in the studio, across genres and musical contexts. A versatile ride cymbal that fits most setups.

Who It's For

For players who want a robust ride cymbal with a clear attack and separated bell, and who like to stand out visually with a colored finish.
