The Remo Pinstripe Clear is a two-ply batter head for bass drum that gives a dampened attack and shorter sustain than a single-ply head. The result is a focused, controlled bass drum tone that's easy to keep tight without extra muffling.

The Pinstripe construction is built from two layers of film laminated together, which shortens the head's natural ring compared with a standard single-ply head. That gives the bass drum a clearer, more studio-ready attack straight out of the box – often without needing extra muffling material inside the drum.
