20" Evans EQ4 Batter Bass Drum Head - UV Coated
Evans EQ4 UV Coated 20" bass drum head, single-ply head with a damping ring and UV-processed coating.
Product Description
Evans EQ4 UV Coated is a single-ply 20" head with a damping ring, built for a dynamic sound with brilliant top end and a full bottom. The head belongs to the UV1 series.
Construction
The surface has a UV-processed coating that gives the UV Coated finish. The construction is built on Level 360 Technology.
Sound
Tuned low, the head gives a softer attack with good bottom end. Tuned high, the sound becomes more focused, with a firm attack and a full core.
Feel
Played lightly off-centre, the head gives attractive overtones with a clear identity. Played harder, the attack becomes rounder, reminiscent of a two-ply head.
Function
The head has good durability and suits a wide range of musical contexts.
