20" Aquarian American Vintage Medium - Coated

Product Description

The American Vintage Medium from Aquarian is a 20" drum head with a textured Texture Coated surface, built for drummers who want a warm, resonant tone with clear response to sticks, mallets and brushes. The coating is thin yet unusually durable, and the construction is designed to make tuning easy and stable.

• Texture Coated surface at 10 mil (thousandths of an inch) for a responsive, resonant tone
• Works well with sticks, mallets and brushes
• Aquarian's Z-100 coating, one of the thinnest and most durable ever developed
• Resists flaking compared to conventional coatings
• "Safe-T-Loc" hoop combined with a "Sound Curve" collar

Tone and Response

The head delivers a consistent tone, added resonance and the sensitive response drummers expect from a traditional single-ply head. The Texture Coated surface holds up over time without flaking, unlike many conventional coatings.

Tuning and Construction

Aquarian's "Safe-T-Loc" hoop works together with the "Sound Curve" collar to make tuning the head straightforward. The combination gives a strong stick response and reduces the risk of the head slipping during play.
