Product Description
The 20" Heavy Ride from Paiste's 900 Series is a heavier-weight ride cymbal with a warm, full and dynamic sound. It's made from CuSn20, the same alloy used in the Paiste 2002 line, but at a much friendlier price thanks to a combination of machine manufacturing and hand hammering.
900 Series cymbals are first shaped by machine, then hand-hammered in the final stage. A hybrid process that delivers well-built, great-sounding cymbals without the price tag of a fully hand-hammered line.
Sound and Feel
The sound is warm, full and dynamic with a pingy stick sound and lively intensity. The bell is clearly separated from the body of the cymbal, giving a distinct bell sound alongside the body's own character. Volume ranges from medium to very loud thanks to the heavier construction.
Applications
