20" Paiste 2002 Power Crash Cymbal
20" crash cymbal, Paiste 2002 Power Crash in CuSn8 bronze. Powerful projection and washy sound for rock and metal.
Product Description
The Paiste 2002 Power Crash is a 20" crash cymbal from the legendary 2002 series that has defined the sound of rock since its launch in 1971. This heavy-gauge cymbal delivers a powerful, washy sound with high projection, suited to everything from classic rock to modern metal, live and in the studio.
Sound and Feel
The cymbal is cast from CuSn8 bronze, also known as "2002 Bronze", and has a heavy weight that produces a brilliant, clear and warm sound with strong, musical energy. The attack is fairly washy with a lively intensity, and the projection is powerful enough for medium to very loud music. The bell is integrated into the cymbal, adding a distinct edge to the overall sound.
Uses
The 2002 Power Crash works in almost any setting, from classic rock, blues, punk, hard rock and heavy metal to modern metal styles, crossover, country rock, ska, rockabilly, funk, R&B, soul and gospel. It performs equally well on stage and in the studio.
