Product Description
The Paiste 2002 Novo China is a 20" china cymbal in CuSn8 alloy, also known as "2002 Bronze", the same alloy that has made the 2002 series legendary since its launch in 1971. The tone is brilliant, clear and warm with a high energy level and powerful projection, and the cymbal suits almost any musical context, from classic rock to modern metal.
Tonal Character
The cymbal has a medium thickness and a volume ranging from medium to very loud. The stick sound is fairly ping-like with lively intensity, the bell is clear and defined, and the cymbal has an integrated chick sound.
Use
Thanks to its high energy level and precision, the 2002 Novo China works both live and in the studio, for music ranging from medium-soft to loud. It's a natural choice for classic rock, blues, punk, hard rock, heavy metal and most modern metal styles, crossover, country rock, ska, rockabilly, funk, R&B, soul, gospel and related genres.
