20" Paiste 2002 China Cymbal
20" china cymbal, Paiste 2002 in CuSn8 bronze. Legendary series since 1971 with bright, powerful sound and strong projection.
Product Description
The Paiste 2002 China is a 20" cymbal made from CuSn8 alloy ("2002 Bronze"), medium in thickness with an integrated bell. It has shaped the sound of generations of drummers since 1971 and works equally well live and in the studio, across genres from classic rock to modern metal.
The sound is brilliant, clear and warm, while also being strong, musical and highly precise thanks to its high energy level and powerful projection. The edge sound is fairly pingy and the intensity lively, giving the cymbal a clear presence even in dense mixes.
Volume and playing feel
With its medium thickness, the 2002 China delivers sound suited for medium to loud music. It responds quickly to the stick and offers a powerful, energetic character rather than a dark, subdued tone.
Who It's For
An obvious choice if you play classic rock, blues, punk, hard rock, heavy metal and most modern metal styles, as well as crossover, country rock, ska, rockabilly, funk, R&B, soul, gospel and a range of subgenres in between. Great for players who want a cymbal with real history and a proven sound that still holds up against today's music.
