19" Paiste Signature Dark Energy Dark Energy Crash Mark I Crash Cymbal
19" crash cymbal, Signature Dark Energy Mark I from Paiste, forged from proprietary bronze. Dark, warm tone with control and balance.
Product Description
The Paiste Signature Dark Energy Dark Energy Crash Mark I is a 19" crash cymbal forged from the manufacturer's proprietary bronze alloy, hand-crafted from start to finish by Swiss craftsmen. The sound is dark, multi-layered and warm, with a rich, full character and clear focus on control, projection and balance.
Sound Character
The tone is dark, multi-layered, warm and crisp, with a rich and full character. The focus is on control, projection and balance rather than raw volume, and the cymbal responds equally well from soft to loud playing (Soft To Loud volume). The stick attack is lively and the bell has fairly long sustain, while an integrated chick sound is present when closed. Washy intensity gives an open, responsive wash.
Construction
The cymbal is forged from Paiste's proprietary Signature Bronze alloy and hand-crafted from start to finish by Swiss craftsmen, a modern take on traditionally hand-made cymbals. The weight is medium light.
Who It's For
A cymbal for players of jazz, fusion, progressive rock, blues rock or funk who want a high-end instrument with personal character and musical nuance.
