19" Sabian Artisan Traditional Symphonic Medium Light Cymbal 2 Pairs
Sabian Artisan 19" hand cymbals, Medium Light, deliver warm, rich tone with quick response. Ideal for orchestral repertoire and auditions.
Product Description
The Sabian Artisan Traditional Symphonic Medium Light is a 19" pair of orchestral hand cymbals with quick response and a warm, rich tone. Suited to moderate through loud dynamics, it's a popular choice for orchestral excerpts and auditions.
- Quick response with rich, warm tone
- Splashier quality and shorter sustain than the Medium Heavy pair
- Size and weight make it ideal for single or successive loud crashes
- High-density hand hammering creates the Artisan's legendary, “centuries-old” sound
- Individually hand hammered and crafted by master SABIAN artisans
Tone and Feel
The Medium Light pair responds quickly and produces a rich, warm tone. Compared to the Medium Heavy pair in the same series, it has a splashier quality and shorter sustain, making it easy to play across moderate to loud dynamics. Its size and weight are ideal for single or successive loud crashes.
Construction
The Artisan series combines traditional high-density hand hammering with modern jumbo-peen dimpling on the underside, a design developed with leading percussionists looking to replace aging orchestral cymbals. The result became the benchmark by which other hand cymbals are measured. The series is available in Medium Light and Medium Heavy weights, in sizes from 16" to 20".
Who It's For
A natural choice for orchestral percussionists performing classical repertoire, orchestral excerpts, or auditions who want a hand cymbal with quick response and traditional tonal character.
