19" Paiste PST 7 Thin Crash Cymbal

Product Description

The Paiste PST 7 Thin Crash is a 19" crash cymbal made from CuSn8 bronze (the 2002 Bronze alloy), built in a thin weight class for a warm, clear and open sound. It offers quick response and a low-to-medium volume, making it equally at home in the rehearsal room, on stage and in select recording situations.

The PST 7 series is built for drummers who want the traditional Paiste sound at an affordable price. The cymbals come in three weight classes, Light/Thin, Medium and Heavy, so you can pick the feel that matches your playing style.

Sound and Feel

Thanks to its thin construction, this crash has a velvety, soft stick attack and washy intensity on longer rolls. The bell is medium sized and provides an integrated chick sound, making the crash versatile even in more dynamic playing. The tone is clear, clean and open with a warm character that suits most genres.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want an affordable all-around crash with a low-to-medium volume, for example for rehearsal, smaller live settings, or studio recording where a warm but controlled crash is needed.
