19" Paiste Color Sound 900 Crash Cymbal - Purple

Product Description

The Paiste Color Sound 900 Purple Crash is a 19" crash cymbal in one of four bold colors in the series, offering a warm and full sound suited for both stage and studio use. The color coating gives it a slightly darker and more controlled sound than the standard 900 series, while retaining a lively intensity in the attack.

The cymbal is made from CuSn20 bronze alloy and goes through the same process as the rest of the 900 series: machine-made in the first stage, then hand-hammered to finish. This gives a medium-weight cymbal with a washy attack character, and an integrated bell that adds to the overall sound.

Sound Character

The sound is described as warm, full, and dynamic, with medium low-to-loud volume that works both softly and with more intensity depending on how it's played. The lively intensity and washy character make it versatile across musical styles.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want a crash cymbal that works across most genres and settings, live or in the studio, while also standing out visually with a bold color finish.
