The Paiste 900 Series Heavy Crash is a 19" crash cymbal made from CuSn20 alloy, the same alloy used in the Paiste 2002 series. The cymbal is machine-made at its core but hand-hammered in the final stage, resulting in well-built, great-sounding cymbals at a good price.
Thanks to its heavy thickness, the cymbal delivers medium to loud volume with a washy attack sound and lively intensity, a crash that cuts through clearly without becoming aggressive. The sound character is warm, full and dynamic, and the integrated bell adds extra character when played on the bell. It works equally well live and in the studio, across all genres and musical contexts.
