18" Zildjian Z Custom China - Brilliant

Product Description

The Zildjian Z Custom China is an 18" china cymbal in B20 bronze with a Brilliant finish, built for hard rock and metal. It delivers a raw, trashy sound with fast response and enough projection to cut through even the thickest wall of distorted guitars. It suits everything from heavy metal and thrash to black and death metal.

Sound and Feel

The china is hard and clear, with a fast, trashy sound cutting through the mix. Zildjian's reintroduced 2024 version of the Z Custom line has more body and opens up more easily, with noticeably more dynamics than earlier generations, without losing the piercing character the series is known for.

Construction

The cymbal is made from Zildjian's Secret Family B20 Alloy and finished with a polished Brilliant finish.

Who It's For

Z Custom is built primarily for music in the heavier end of the spectrum, for drummers playing everything from heavy metal to more extreme genres. Individual models in the series can suit other styles too, depending on the sound you're after, but this china is first and foremost a metal cymbal.
