18" Zildjian K Paper Thin Crash Cymbal - Traditional

Product Description

The K Paper Thin Crash 18" from Zildjian's K series is a crash cymbal with an explosive, dark response and quick decay. The sound carries clear overtones that fade out softly, with a naturally overtone-rich register.

Material And Construction

It is hammered in three different steps and made in the USA. It belongs to the K Zildjian series.

Sound

The sound character is dry with a low pitch and a shimmering register. Within the register there's a solid response in the lower frequencies, and the cymbal has a great dynamic with dark undertones and fullness.

Feel

The feel is soft but clear, while the cymbal is overtone-rich and explosive in character. Play it gently and the sound creeps forward, but a forceful hit makes it explode with trashiness. Depending on how it's played, it can become intense or more mature in expression.

Use

The K Paper Thin Crash suits most styles of music and can be complemented with cymbals from the A series.
