The Paiste RUDE Thin Crash 18" is built for raw, loud and fearless music. Since its launch in the early 1980s, the RUDE series has stood for a hard, distinct and powerful sound that cuts through even a dense, heavy mix. This 18" thin version delivers a fast, washy attack and a fairly long bell, with volume ranging from medium soft to loud.

The cymbal is cast in CuSn20 alloy and works particularly well for rock, hard rock, heavy metal, punk, hardcore and most modern metal styles – both live and in the studio. The sound character is described as raw, hard, sharp, distinct and powerful, with a sharp intensity that lets the crash cut through even when the rest of the band is playing dense and heavy.
