18" Evans Reso7 - Coated
18" resonant head from Evans with Level 360 profile. Open tone with controlled, slightly shorter sustain. Easy to tune.
Product Description
The Evans Reso7 is an 18" resonant head built for drummers who want an open tone without losing control of sustain. The head is made from a single layer of 7 mil coated film and features Evans' Level 360 profile, making it significantly easier to tune than many other heads.
Reso7 uses a special film developed to deliver controlled sustain without the tone becoming dead or muddy. The result is a drum that still sounds open, but with a soft "gate" effect that slightly shortens sustain. Useful if you want control without sacrificing character.
Level 360. Consistent seating from the start
Level 360 is Evans' name for the head's shape, which makes it considerably easier to tune than other brands. Thanks to the profile, the head sits flat against the drum shell right from installation and delivers good sound from the start. No breaking-in period before the head settles. Reso7 with Level 360 profile is available in sizes from 6" to 18".
