18" Paiste PST 8 Reflector Rock China Cymbal

Product Description

Paiste's PST 8 Reflector Rock China is an 18" china cymbal made from the classic CuSn8 bronze alloy (the same alloy used in the 2002 series), traditionally hand-hammered and finished with the unique high-gloss Reflector finish. It delivers a bright, powerful, and clearly defined sound that suits most styles of music, both live and in the studio.

Sound Character

The cymbal has a bright, clean tone with a powerful, warm sound and a clearly defined character. The attack is distinct and the intensity lively, keeping it audible even at high volume. From loud to very loud. The integrated bell adds extra attack to the overall sound.

Construction

The alloy is CuSn8 bronze, shaped through traditional hand-hammering. The thickness is classed as medium heavy, giving the cymbal its powerful and defined character. The surface is finished with the Reflector treatment, a high-gloss polished surface that gives a striking visual impression.

Who It's For

A good choice for players working in rock and other genres where a clear, powerful china effect is needed, on stage and in the studio.
