The 18" PST 5 Medium Crash from Paiste is an all-round cymbal in medium thickness, cast from Paiste's legendary CuSn8 bronze alloy (the same recipe used in the finer 2002 series). It delivers a clear, open, washy sound with lively intensity – a cymbal that works across genres and volumes, including live use.

The PST 5 series combines Swiss cymbal expertise with German engineering, and is often seen as a genuine sweet spot between price and quality. The cymbal has an integrated bell and, thanks to its medium-to-loud volume, works just as well in the rehearsal room as on stage.
