18" Paiste PST 5 China Cymbal
Paiste PST 5 China cymbal, 18" in CuSn8 bronze. Clear, open tone with a washy attack, great value.
Product Description
The Paiste PST 5 China is an 18" china cymbal made from CuSn8 bronze (the alloy also known as "2002 bronze"), built with Swiss cymbal expertise and German engineering. It delivers a clear, clean and open tone with plenty of energy, suited to any genre and volume, including live use.
Sound and feel
The tone is clear and open with a washy attack sound and an integrated bell, adding an extra layer to the overall sound. Decay is medium-long, and the cymbal works from medium volume all the way up to very loud without losing character.
Construction
The CuSn8 Bronze alloy is the same used in Paiste's higher-end series, but the PST 5 is made in a simpler, more affordable execution. The medium heavy weight gives the cymbal good response without feeling too heavy in the hand.
Who It's For
A great all-around china for players who want a musical cymbal without spending a fortune. Equally at home in the rehearsal room, studio, or on stage.
