18" Performance II Coated Bastrumskinn, Aquarian
Fat, punchy tone for low-tuned toms and classic rock sound. Two-ply 7 mil head that makes even small kits sound huge.
Product Description
The Aquarian Performance II Coated is a two-ply 18" bass drum head made with Aquarian's Vacuum Tuned Process, which eliminates air bubbles and wrinkles between the plies. Built for low tuning, it delivers a fat, punchy sound focused on the low frequencies. The classic rock tone that can make even a small, budget kit sound big and powerful.
The two 7 mil plies are sealed only at the edges, which tames unwanted overtones and keeps the focus on the low end instead of letting the sound spread upward. The result is a full, thick tone with plenty of punch on the toms, exactly the character associated with classic rock records.
Performance II is a great choice if you like tuning low and want a thick, powerful bass drum sound. Even from a smaller or more affordable kit.
