Product Description
Performance II Clear is a two-ply bass drum head from Aquarian, built for players who like low tuning and a fat, powerful sound. The head is made using Aquarian's ”Vacuum Tuned Process”, a method that eliminates air bubbles and wrinkles between the two plies. The result is a head with plenty of punch, perfect for classic rock tone.
The two 7 mil plies are sealed only at the edges. This tames unwanted overtones and puts the focus on the low frequencies, giving a clear and controlled fundamental tone.
Performance II Clear is designed for low tuning and, when tuned low, delivers the fattest possible sound with plenty of punch on your toms - exactly the character associated with classic rock records. The head can also make a small or budget-friendly kit sound much bigger and more powerful.
