Product Description
The Meinl Pure Alloy Custom Medium Heavy Crash 18" is a crash cymbal made in Germany from Pure Alloy, with a smoked-bronze top and a brilliant bottom finish. The sound is complex and full-bodied, with a shimmering top register sitting like sparkling crystals over a deeper, core-heavy register below. Well suited for rock, pop, fusion, R&B, reggae and studio work.

- Fast response
- Shimmering top register over a core-heavy register
- Sound character: medium-dark
Sound and Feel
The cymbal has a medium-dark sound character with a low to mid pitch and medium to low volume. Sustain sits at a medium level, giving a sound that decays without lingering. The weight is classed as Medium Heavy, contributing to the full, core-heavy body of the sound.
