18" Meinl Classics Custom Dark Trash Stack Cymbal Stack - Dark

Product Description

The Meinl Classics Custom Dark Trash Stack is an 18" stacked cymbal setup with holes, built for a short, trashy sound with plenty of attack. It's a great way to add a distinct, dark accent to your playing in genres like rock, metal, pop and fusion.

The cymbals are made from B10 bronze (90% copper, 10% tin) using computer-controlled manufacturing for consistent quality. A special heat treatment formula gives the cymbals their unique dark look as well as their characteristic sound, and the extra hammering adds a fuller low end. The result is a bright tone spiced with a dark low end and a medium-high pitch, with fast attack and medium sustain carrying a clear sparkle as it decays.

Volume sits at a medium level but with a distinct, clear attack, making the stack easy to control in the mix without getting lost. Thanks to the holes in the cymbals, the sound stays short and trashy rather than ringing out. Perfect for quick accents in the music.
