18" Meinl Classics Custom Dark China, CC18DATRCH
Trashy china cymbal with a fast attack and a dark finish. A great complement to the Dark series crashes.
Product Description
The Meinl Classics Custom Dark China is an 18" china cymbal with a fast attack and a distinct, medium-high pitched sound. It's cast from B10 bronze and given a special heat treatment that produces both the dark look and the characteristic tone of the Dark series. It works great as a complement to the series' popular crash cymbals and suits a wide range of genres, from rock and metal to pop and fusion.
Sound and Construction
The cymbal is made from B10 bronze alloy (90% copper, 10% tin) using computer-controlled, Hi-Tech manufacturing. A special heat treatment formula gives it both its dark, distinct look and a unique sound. The tonal character is described as bright with a medium-high pitch, medium sustain, and medium volume.
Who It's For
A great choice if you want to add a trashy china cymbal with a fast response to your setup, whether you play rock, metal, pop, or fusion.
