18" Istanbul Agop Traditional Heavy Crash Cymbal
18" Traditional Heavy crash from Istanbul Agop, fully lathed for rich, warm overtones and long sustain.
Product Description
An 18" crash cymbal from Istanbul Agop's Traditional series, in the heavier Heavy weight class. Fully lathed on both top and bottom, it produces rich, warm overtones with a highly musical presence. A great choice if you want a powerful crash with plenty of projection and sustain.
The Traditional series is completely lathed top and bottom, a process that gives it its signature rich, warm overtone character. This particular model sits toward the heavier end of the series' weight range, which spans from paper thin to heavy, allowing players to match a weight to their style of music.
The response is powerful and explosive, with a solid feel and added projection. It also carries an unusually long sustain, making it a prominent, cutting-through crash rather than a short accent.
