18" Istanbul Agop Lenny White Signature Epoch Crash Cymbal
18" Crash Cymbal, Lenny White Signature Epoch, Istanbul Agop. Deep, warm crash with quick decay.
Product Description
18" crash cymbal from Istanbul Agop's Lenny White Signature "Epoch" series, developed together with jazz legend Lenny White. It delivers a deep, warm crash that stays clear rather than overly complex, with a quick decay thanks to its flatter profile.
The Epoch series was developed in collaboration with Lenny White and is heavily inspired by a ride cymbal once given to Wallace Roney by the late, great Tony Williams, a cymbal Lenny himself played during his time working with Wallace. That history shaped the character of the whole series.
The Epoch Crash uses a flatter profile than a traditional crash, giving it that quick decay while keeping the sound focused rather than washy. The result is a deep, warm crash for players who want clarity in the attack without the sound becoming overly rich or complex.
