18" Evans Hydraulic Glass
Tom head (Hydraulic Glass) from Evans, 18" with a fat, compressed tone. Two-ply oil head. Full sound at low tunings.
Product Description
The 18" Hydraulic Glass from Evans is a genuine two-ply oil head with a fat, compressed tone and an attack that delivers a distinct 70s sound. The head produces full sound even at extremely low tunings and is built to hold up over time.
The two plies with oil sandwiched between them give the head a tight, full-bodied punch rather than an open, ringing tone. That makes it a solid choice if you want to tune low without the sound getting thin or hollow.
