18" Evans EQ3 - Frosted
Two-ply bass drum head, 18", slightly thinner than EQ2. No Dry Vents, but built-in muffle rings.
Product Description
The Evans EQ3 Frosted is an 18" two-ply bass drum head with a coated surface. It delivers a wet attack and a fat low end with a focused tone that sits between EQ1 and EQ2, making it a great choice for a powerful yet controlled bass drum sound.
The coating gives a drier attack compared to a clear head. The head is slightly thinner than the EQ2, and while it doesn't have the EQ2's Dry Vents, it comes with built-in muffle rings for controlled tone. An Evans EQ patch is included in the price.
