18" Evans Genera Heavy Dry - Coated
18" drumhead from Evans, Genera HD Dry with Coated finish. Two-ply head with Dry Vents along the edge.
Product Description
Genera HD Dry from Evans is a two-ply head with a Coated finish in 18" diameter. It helps you find the right sound, whether it's a full ballad snare or an aggressive metal snare.
Construction
The head is built with an inner ply of 7.5 mil and an outer ply of 5 mil, with a 2 mil dampening layer on the underside. Along the edge of the head there are small precision-drilled holes, called Dry Vents, which give a full sound and reduce overtones. The Level 360 profile means the head sits flat against the drum's shell and gives sound straight away. It's also easier to tune than other makes.
