18" Evans EQ4 - Calftone
Synthetic bass drum head with a calfskin look and warm, clear tone. Without the drawbacks.
Product Description
The Evans Calftone is an 18" synthetic bass drum head that gives you the look and warm tone of a traditional calfskin head, combined with the reliability, fit, and tonal range of a modern Evans 360 head. A great choice if you love the vintage look but want to skip the drawbacks of real calfskin.
The head is made from 12 mil mylar blended with a unique material to achieve the warmth and clear tone associated with genuine calfskin. Calftone can be used as either a batter head or a resonant head, making it a flexible choice for your bass drum setup.
