Product Description
The Evans EMAD Calftone is an 18" bass drum head that gives you the look and warm tone of traditional calfskin heads, combined with the reliability and tonal range of a modern Evans head. A great choice if you want that vintage feel without the vintage drawbacks.
The head is made from 12 mil mylar blended with a unique material to achieve the warmth and clear tone associated with genuine calfskin. Calftone can be used as either a batter head or a resonant head, giving you flexibility in how you combine it on your bass drum.
