18" Paiste Color Sound 900 Heavy Crash Cymbal - Red

Product Description

An 18" Heavy Crash from Paiste's Color Sound 900 series, in red. It delivers a warm, full and dynamic sound with a washy attack, and the color coating gives the tone a slightly darker, more controlled character than the standard 900 series. Suited for both live and studio use, across most musical styles.

Construction and Sound

The cymbal is cast from CuSn20 bronze and is, like the rest of the 900 series, machine-made at its core, then hand-hammered as a finishing step. The red color coating affects the tone, giving a slightly darker and more controlled sound compared to an uncoated 900-series cymbal.

The sound is described as warm, full and dynamic, with a washy attack and lively intensity. The cymbal has an integrated bell.
