18" Paiste Color Sound 900 Crash Cymbal - Purple
18" purple crash cymbal, Paiste Color Sound 900. Warm, full sound with a washy edge and integrated bell.
Product Description
The Color Sound 900 Purple Crash is an 18" purple crash cymbal from Paiste, built on the same foundation as the regular Color Sound 900 series but in a bolder colour. It delivers a warm, full and dynamic sound and works equally well live and in the studio, across all genres.
Construction and Sound
Like the rest of the 900 series, the cymbal is machine-made at its core but hand-hammered in a final step. The alloy is CuSn20. The colour coating gives the Color Sound cymbals a slightly darker and more controlled sound compared to the standard 900 series. The thickness is medium, giving a volume between medium low and loud, a washy attack sound and lively intensity. The bell is integrated into the cymbal.
Use
The cymbal works just as well on stage as in the studio, across all genres and musical contexts.
