18" Paiste Color Sound 900 Blue Heavy Crash Cymbal - Blue

Product Description

The Color Sound 900 Blue Heavy Crash is an 18" crash cymbal from Paiste finished in a bold blue coating, built on the same alloy and construction as the standard 900 series. The color coating gives the sound a slightly darker, more controlled character, with a warm, full and dynamic tone that works well on stage and in the studio. A great choice if you want to stand out visually without giving up a versatile, usable crash sound.

Construction and Sound

The cymbal is made from CuSn20 alloy in the heavy weight class, giving it a medium to loud volume with lively intensity. The attack has a washy character, and the integrated bell contributes to the overall sound. Like the rest of the 900 series, it is first machine-made and then hand-hammered before the color coating is applied.

Use

The Color Sound 900 suits all kinds of genres and musical settings, both live and in the studio, fitting equally well in a bold, colorful setup or a more traditional kit.
