18" Paiste Color Sound 900 China Cymbal - Black
China cymbal Color Sound 900 in black, 18" by Paiste. Washy, trashy sound with a warm, full tone for live and studio.
Product Description
18" china cymbal from Paiste's Color Sound 900 series, finished in black. It has a warm, full and dynamic sound with a washy attack and trashy intensity, working equally well live and in the studio across all genres.
Color Sound 900 is essentially the same cymbal as the standard 900 series, but the color coating gives it a slightly darker and more controlled sound. The cymbal is machine-made in the first stage, then hand-hammered in the finishing process.
Sound Character
The sound is warm, full and dynamic, with a washy attack and trashy intensity. The bell has a medium character and produces an integrated chick sound. Volume ranges from medium to loud.
Construction
The alloy is CuSn20 and the weight is medium thin, giving the cymbal its dynamic and responsive feel.
Who It's For
A great choice if you want to stand out with a bold, colorful china cymbal that works in virtually any musical setting, live or in the studio.
