The Meinl Classics Custom Powerful Crash 18" is a pressed B10 bronze cymbal with a bright tone and medium-high pitch – a clear, brilliant crash that cuts through the mix without sounding thin. It suits rock, pop, metal, fusion and studio work, with medium-to-high sustain and medium volume.

The cymbal is cast from B10 alloy (90% copper, 10% tin) and produced using computer-controlled Hi-Tech manufacturing, giving consistent quality and a brilliance previously found only in more expensive series. The sound character is bright with medium-high pitch, sustain sits at medium to high, and volume is medium but with a brilliant splash in the attack.

The Classics Custom series brings life to hard-to-get-right formats like splashes and smaller crashes, and is available complete from 14" to 20" – including the more experimental Trashcrash models.
