18" Evans Calftone
Modern head that looks and sounds like calfskin. Without the classic drawbacks.
Product Description
The Evans Calftone is a synthetic 18" bass drum head that gives you the look and warm tone of a traditional calfskin head, combined with the reliability, fit, and tonal range of a modern Evans 360 head. A good choice if you want that vintage feel without the classic downsides of real calfskin.
The head is made from 12 mil mylar blended with a unique material to achieve the warmth and clear tone associated with calfskin heads. Calftone can be used as either a batter head or a resonant head, making it flexible across your kit.
