18" Aquarian American Vintage Thin - Texture Coated

Product Description

The American Vintage Thin is Aquarian's single-ply Texture Coated head in 18", built for drummers who want traditional, sensitive response while keeping resonance intact. The coating is extremely thin and durable, and works equally well with sticks, mallets and brushes.

• 10 mil single-ply construction
• Aquarian's Z-100 coating. One of the thinnest and most durable ever developed
• Resists flaking better than conventional coatings
• "Safe-T-Loc" hoop for easy tuning and reduced head slippage
• "Sound Curve" collar for improved stick response

Tone and feel

The Texture Coated surface delivers a responsive and resonant tone whether you play with sticks, mallets or brushes. The Safe-T-Loc hoop combined with the Sound Curve collar makes tuning easy and gives incredible stick response, along with the consistent, sensitive feel drummers expect from a traditional single-ply head.

Construction

The Z-100 coating is engineered to be significantly thinner than conventional coatings without sacrificing durability. It resists flaking and lasts a long time even under heavy use.
